Woman Killed In Crash Near Busy Baltimore Intersection (Developing)

One person was killed, and a second injured in a Baltimore crash on Thursday afternoon, police confirmed.

Shortly after 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to the 5800 block of Belair Road, where there was a multi-car crash.

Police say that one of the drivers, a 60-year-old woman whose ID has not been released, suffered life-threatening injuries and later died after being rushed to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

A 26-year-old man driving the second vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is now being investigated by the department's Accident Investigation Unit, and the woman's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's Office.
